Dr. John Clinton

Dr. John Clinton is a board-certified pediatrician and partner at our clinic who provides care for children from infancy through adolescence. In addition to outpatient pediatrics, he also provides newborn nursery, inpatient pediatric, and delivery room coverage.

Dr. Clinton completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine and his pediatric residency training at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He also previously worked in pediatric emergency medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital.

He enjoys helping families better understand their children’s health and believes that clear communication and education are an important part of pediatric care. Dr. Clinton values building long-term relationships with families and caring for children through every stage of childhood. He also speaks Spanish.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, tennis, and research.

Dr. Leigh Ann Falcon

Dr. Leigh Ann Falcon received her MD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and completed her residency in Internal Medicine there as well. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Falcon is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science. She grew up in Calhoun County and after training decided to return to Port Lavaca to join Port Lavaca Clinic. She is the Medical Director for the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Memorial Medical Center and volunteers her time serving on the Board of Directors of the local YMCA since 2017. Dr. Falcon has received significant recognition and awards, including being voted “Best Physician in Calhoun County” three times. She has been featured on CBS News “60 Minutes” regarding the challenges faced by patients, physicians, and hospitals in rural healthcare. She enjoys her free time with her three amazing teenagers and their pet cat and Bernedoodle.

Destiny Ibrom

Destiny Ibrom, RN,MSN, FNP-C is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southwestern State University in Weatherford, Okla., and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Victoria College.

Dr. John Wright

Dr. John B. Wright is a trusted family medicine physician who has proudly served the Port Lavaca community since 2007. With deep roots in nearby Victoria, Texas, he is committed to caring for generations of families through a personalized, relationship-driven approach.

With nearly two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Wright provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and continuity of care. He is committed to delivering personalized, patient-centered care to the community he serves.

Dr. Wright completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, followed by his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston (McGovern Medical School). He went on to complete an internship in General Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and a Family Medicine residency with Methodist Health System in Dallas.

He offers full-spectrum family medicine—from caring for newborns in the nursery at Memorial Medical Center to supporting seniors in local nursing facilities. Dr. Wright values long-term relationships with his patients and takes pride in helping them navigate their health at every stage of life.

With a strong interest in sports medicine, Dr. Wright serves as team physician for the Calhoun High School varsity football team. He provides on-the-field care for student-athletes and treats a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries in the clinic, helping patients stay active and recover safely.

Dr. Wright performs a broad range of procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, joint injections, and minor surgical procedures. He also supports the local workforce through occupational health services and is certified to perform DOT and FAA flight physicals.

A dedicated community leader, Dr. Wright has served in multiple leadership roles at Memorial Medical Center, including Chief of Staff. He actively supports local organizations such as The Harbor Children’s Alliance and remains involved in his church and community service efforts.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wright enjoys road cycling, spending time with his family, and staying actively engaged in the community he is proud to serve.

Dr. Timu Kwi

Dr. Timu Kwi is a board certified family physician providing both inpatient and outpatient care to pediatric and adult patients. She graduated from medical school from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. She received her medical training at the family practice residency program at St Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After working in urgent care at the Columbia- St. Mary’s Clinics in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for over a year, Dr Kwi also spent time overseas as a missionary physician at the Kwai River Christian Hospital in Thailand before joining the Port Lavaca Clinic in September of 2003.

She lives in Port Lavaca with her husband Solomon and their 3 children, Crystal, Caleb, and Celeste.

Michael Caughron

Michael Caughron FNP graduated from Calhoun High School in 1982. He completed his first Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy in 1995 from University of Houston Victoria. He then pursued his Associate nursing degree in 1998 and completed his Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2010 from Regis University in Denver Colorado. But that was not a stopping point, he then went on to complete his Master’s in Nursing from Samford University in 2014 with honors. He has worked in the local ER for over 14 years before moving to Port Lavaca Clinic in August 2015.

He is married to his high school sweetheart Karen, and they have two kids Brice, who is currently attending Texas A&M and Mikayla.

Victoria Brown

Victoria Brown, FNP-C has resided in Victoria TX for the past thirteen years with her husband and two kids. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Victoria College and later went on to earn her Bachelors and Masters Degree, to pursue her Family Nurse Practitioner.

Tori is passionate about providing patient-centered care and building meaningful relationships with her patients of all ages. She is excited to be a part of the Port Lavaca Clinic team & looks forward to helping care for the community to help achieve their healthcare goals.
